Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our medical team. In this role, you will provide advanced clinical care, perform diagnostic assessments, and develop treatment plans to manage a diverse range of patient conditions. Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings. Prescribe medications, perform procedures, and provide patient education on managing health conditions.
- Patient Management: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and communication.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication within the team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to promote informed decision-making and overall health improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to all healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (for NP) or a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (for PA) from an accredited program.
- Certification: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and a valid state license to practice.
- Experience: Relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the specialty area of the practice.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
